NOTES:

• We do not recommend using a crimp tool for attaching terminations. Instead, we highly recommend utilizing toolless terminations to ensure the preservation of signal integrity.
• The measures above are taken from a direct point-to-point connection without patch cords. If your install uses patch cords, the range and signal integrity might be reduced depending on the type of patch cord used. For example, CAT7 patch cords are better in terms of signal integrity conservation than CAT6A.
• HDBaseT 3.0 recommends CAT6A U/FTP cables. They offer the best range and signal integrity.
• CAT7 and CAT6A S/STP cables seem to be the best alternatives without significant distance loss.
• Not all CAT6A cables work well with HDBaseT 3.0.
• Bare/structural cable is ~30% better than stranded cable.
